Tamang Heritage Trail
Tamang heritage trail situated at North of the Kathmandu valley, this trek is the most accessible, short, and exciting trekking region in Nepal. Tamang Heritage trails offer the most stunning scenery of the country- Terrence farm, lush forest, and the mountains of the Langtang Region, Langtang Lirung, and Ganesh Himal, the edge of the Tibetan border. The village on the route is the residence of Tamang People, nearly related to Tibetans, also the culture ids Buddhist with a good sprinkling of prayer wheels, Chortens, Prayer Flags, and Mani walls along the route.
The Tamang Culture originally arrive from Tibet as horse sellers and residents in hilly parts of Nepal, hundred years ago. Best season for Tamang Heritage trek
Nepal has four different seasons in a year Summer/Monsoon (June July and August), winter (December, January, and February), Spring (March, April, and May), and Autumn (September, October, and November).
Spring and autumn are the best seasons to do Tamang Heritage Trail due to the lower altitude of this trek, this season offers the best views and excitement of trekking.
Winter season also offers the best environment to do Tamang heritage trail and the scenery is likely to be stunning currently, just prepare with extra warm layers.
Monsoon/summer is the time of frequent rainfalls and high Humid, views will not be so good as Spring and Autumn, also it will be difficult to trek on the muddy and slippery trail.
