Best season to travel Pikey Peak
Pikey peak is feasible in every season, however; the diverse season will offer you a different experience. There are four different seasons in a year in Nepal: Autumn, Spring, Summer, Monsoon, and Winter. Spring and Autumn Season are considered as the best season to trek in Nepal. It is better to travel in September – November, and March-May.
Autumn (September to November)
This season is classified as the best season of the year. However, you have to be cautious while trekking in September due to the light rainfall in the Everest region.
The temperature ranges between 9 -15 degrees during the daytime. You will feel the changing temperature as you climb to a higher altitude.
Spring Season (March to May)
This season is the second-best season to trek Pikey peak. This season nature will get back to alive and offer stunning views. You will walk through the colorful rhododendron forest.
This season the trail will be overcrowded and the tea house will become busy. The temperature ranges between 10-20 degrees during day time.

These seasons are considered as the offseason in the Everest region. Trekkers do not prefer winter and monsoon/summer season to trek Pikey peak so, these seasons are not popular as autumn and spring.
The temperature will drop below 0 degrees in the winter season. The trail will be isolated during this season, most of the tea houses remain closed. So, it will be difficult for you to find accommodation.
Monsoon/summer season, the Everest region faces as frequent rainfall. Due to the downpour, the trail will be wet and slippery. The trek will be challenging due to the extreme changing weather. Few trekkers make their way to pikey peak trail during winter and Summer/monsoon.
